Jupiter’s Day is under the mystic spell of the Sun/Neptune water trine. Though this harmonious, flowing and transcendent aspect was exact overnight, our mood and certain events will continue to be influenced by this planetary connection for the next couple of days. Neptune is in Pisces for the next several years, a deep, watery, oceanic sign that has a great affinity for Neptune’s fantastical, illusory qualities.Â
Any connection to Neptune is a little like being lost at sea, and depending on other transits, this could feel like blissfully floating on a raft over calm waters, or holding on for dear life as the waves toss us to and fro, or if this raft were to capsize, another scenario is being fully submerged in imaginal waters, where it’s hard to know if we are swimming down to the bottom, or up to the surface…
Today’s aspect is most like the first scenario, with the Sun in Cancer representing energy, vitality, and conscious awareness shining a light on Neptune’s ethereal waters, to reveal a colourful, thriving reef, full of possibilities below. It’s a great day to dream big, and let our mind drift into the realm of ideas that need not take concrete root to be worth exploring.
Jupiter’s day opens with the waxing Moon’s shift into conciliatory Libra, ending the void of course passage. The day is open for starting new tasks that we hope will take root long term. Since it’s Jupiter’s Day, tasks best explored now involve growth, expansion, self-improvement, and following any opportunities presented to us during the final days of the guru planet’s passage through Pisces, one of it’s luckiest signs.
The rest of the day’s cosmic weather is calm, coasting on the Libra Moon’s balanced mood, and the dreamy Sun/Neptune trine. By evening, the Moon shits into a fleeting, but stimulating square with Mercury in Cancer, catalyzing a period of abundant thoughts, words, sounds and discussions that rise up from a deep, emotional well.Â
There may be a moody, uncomfortable edge to this passage, but it will be helpful to flow with what rises up, and meet the evening’s dialogue with patience, and compassion.
